Founder's Ball FAQS

Every year, the Parents' Association hosts an Annual Gala Fundraiser, which is one of our most important annual, all-school social and philanthropic events involving dozens of volunteers from both the upper and lower school.

The money raised at the Gala has become an important element in both the day-to-day operations of the School and the long-term financial stability of this historic institution. Funds from the Gala support student financial aid and faculty professional development programs.

This year’s Founder's Ball is an event not to be missed with silent and live auctions, opportunity drawings, dinner, and dancing. So much fun and it’s all for a great cause. Make your group or individual reservations online today.

 

Founder's Ball FAQS

 Do I need a group of 10 to make a reservation for the gala?
You absolutely do not need  to fill an entire table to make a gala reservation. Any individual or couple can make a reservation on their own and we will seat you with a group of fun and fabulous people. Make your reservation today while we still have tables available.

How can I  donate an auction item or become a sponsor of the Founder's Ball?
It’s easy, just head to our Contributions page and make your item or cash donation before the donation deadline. We need your help and appreciate all donations large or small. 

What is BidPal?

This year we are pleased to premiere BidPal, an interactive wireless automated silent auction bidding process, With BidPal, you can bid anytime, from anywhere at the event. You can bid on items, watch items, and be instantaneously alerted when you have been outbid. At the end of the auction, you know exactly what you have won. No more running back and forth to the bidding tables. Look for volunteers with a green lanyard to assist you with BidPal.

Can I still bid on auction items even if I can’t attend the gala?
Yes—absolutely! Through Absentee Bidding you can bid on any silent or live auction item. Check back for the Absentee Bid Form here.

How can I pay for the auction items that I purchase? You can pay for any auction items you purchase with check, cash or credit card at the end of the evening; however you will be required to have a credit card available at check-in to receive your bid number.

What should I wear to the Founder's Ball?
The dress will be upscale, 1912 inspired formal wear. Think tuxedo or suits for the gentlemen, long, fluid, Art Nouveau style for the ladies. Or wear whatever you are comfotable wearing!

What kind of entertainment will we have at the Founder's Ball?
We are very lucky to have "Heat" as our entertainment for the evening!  "Heat" is a Dance and Show Band created by former Parker Parent, Eric Sage, P'11.  Learn more at www.sageglobalentertainment.com.  Eric is also the lead singer of the "Bay City Rollers" and travels worldwide.

This year, we are excited to announce an addition to our program - the surprise Parker Spotlight Dancers. Make your reservations NOW to come out and cheer on these Parker Spotlight Dancers!
