We may be reaching the end of the year, but we are hardly slowing down. The coming month’s Parents Association calendar will bring Parker parents together through many different events.
Read on to learn more about our biggest PA event of the year, the Black & White Ball, find out how you can support the Middle School faculty and staff appreciation week, and review details about upcoming parent meetings and mixers.
Whether or not you are going to the Black & White Ball, there are many opportunities for every Parker parent to support the school through the gala.
Ready, Set, Bid!
The Black & White Ball auction is now open. Click here to start bidding. If you are attending the Ball or have registered as an absentee bidder, you should have received a text with your bid number. If you have not registered as an absentee bidder and want to participate, click here to register. You will receive a text with your bid number within 24 hours of registering.
Bidding will continue for the silent auction until the auction closes on the day of the Ball at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 7. The premium auction will close at 7:30 p.m. the same day. If you are interested in bidding on a live auction item but are not attending the gala, please click here to email our proxy bidder coordinator.
Volunteer to Help at the Ball
Another way to support the Black & White Ball is by volunteering. Click here to see how you can lend a hand. Parent volunteers are needed on Friday, May 6 for set up and on Saturday, May 7 to help with various aspects of the event. These volunteers options are open to those attending, as well as to those who have not purchased a ticket.
Black & White Ball Tips
Suggested attire for the Ball is black-tie formal. Guests are encouraged to wear black or white, or black & white. Additional details about the evening’s events will be sent out soon.
If your admission to the Ball is VIP or Club level, watch for an email with your parking pass to give you access to valet parking once you arrive to campus. Those with general admission tickets may park in the San Diego County Education parking lot, next to the Linda Vista campus.
