Francis Parker School maintains libraries on both of its campuses. Each offers a diverse and well-developed collection of print and non-print material suitable for needs of the respective schools. Each library also maintains a web page to help students make use of the Internet for research by guiding them to age-appropriate Internet resources. Every member of the Parker community, is welcome and encouraged to use our library resources and extensive online databases.

Please feel free to contact the librarians if you have any questions or concerns about our program.

The Considine Library

Lower School - Mission Hills Campus

The Considine Library is a very special place, designed specifically for our young Lower School readers. The hallmarks of the building are its high ceiling and story-telling steps where students can gather around their teachers and learn to love books and the magic they hold. Each pre-kindergarten through fifth grade class visits the library every week for thirty minutes. During these visits, classes receive library instruction, book-talks, and a chance to check out library material. The library is open and available to students all day and during the after-school program. Frequent visits are encouraged.

Hours: 8:00 to 4:00 (extended care to 5:00)
