On May 2, 2012, the National French Contest (Le Grand Concours) released the results for this year's student participation. Parker Upper School students earned national titles for levels 2, 3, 4, and 5. The students competed against more than 100,000 other entrants from around the nation.
Preparation for the exam began months in advance, under the direction of Upper School French Teacher and contest leader Irina Dorfman. When she received news of the results, Dorfman said, "We have every reason to celebrate such a success...I'm very proud of my students!"
