On Saturday, May 19, Francis Parker School hosted the second annual Triton Spring II QuizBowl Tournament on the Linda Vista Campus. 27 schools traveled to the competition, including some from as far as San Jose and Las Vegas.
The quizbowl consisted of various pyrimidal academic questions which progressed from harder to easier clues. Teams were given points not only for answering the question, but also for their speed in answering.
Students from Parker and the visiting schools all had a great experience during the day. Faculty member Philip Fickling said, "We learned a lot; we had fun with academics; we made friends; it was everything a school event should be."
