More than 100 alumni and parents attended the annual Networking Reception, held at the W Hotel on April 19, 2012. The event was expanded to include current parents to give alumni maximum exposure to business leaders in our community and leverage opportunities all involved to make new connections.
Keynote speaker Craig Irving '80, who is both an alumnus and a current parent, discussed the amazing impact of networking in his career in commercial real estate. He recounted his father's advice to treat each client as if he were your only client and encouraged all present to carry that forth into every conversation they had that evening and beyond.
Through interacting with alumni, current parents gained new perspectives on the value of a Parker education and alumni were able to make new, meaningful connections.
