The National History Day contest took place from Sunday, June 10 to Thursday, June 14, 2012.
Francis Parker School sent 14 students who represented California in the website, performance and documentary categories. Three of our six teams placed in the finals (the top 14 out of about 100 projects) and two teams received medals.
To put this in perspective, in each division (Middle and Upper), there are about 800 projects, only 27 of which receive medals. Parker projects received two of those medals! We're very proud of each student who competed and of their extraordinary projects.
