How It Works

Visit the online Francis Parker School MBS Bookstore.
Click “Order my books” and follow the instructions to select the current school term, find your division (Middle or Upper), your course(s) and then add any required new or used books to your shopping cart.
Pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
Orders will ship within 24 hours.

Call or Fax an Order

You can purchase books by calling MBS Direct at 800-325-3252. MBS call operators are available:

Monday-Thursday, 7:00am to 10:00pm CDT/CS
Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm CDT/CST
Saturday, 8:00am to 5:00pm CDT/CST
Sunday, 12:00pm to 4:00pm CDT/CST

You can also fax your order to 1-800-449-0143. Include your school name and the course numbers that are included on your class list.

Students Receiving Financial Aid

Voucher codes and instructions were communicated to financial aid recipients in July. If you did not receive this information or have misplaced it, please email either Erin Aiston or Tera Gigax:

Delivery

Textbooks are delivered via UPS Ground, Second Day Air, or Next Day Air. Shipping rates are calculated using the current UPS rate based on weight of the package. (FedEx and Priority Mail are also available).

Textbook Buyback

MBS Direct makes it easy to sell your used book through their buyback program. Books with markings and highlighter are acceptable.

To sell your books, visit the online Francis Parker MBS Bookstore or call MBS Direct at 1-800-325-3252.

To sell your books online, click on “Sell My Books.” Books you’ve purchased this year that are eligible for buyback will be listed on the screen; you will follow the prompts and continue to generate and finalize a quote. The quote will be emailed to you along with a pre-paid shipping label. MBS will mail a check directly to you within 2–4 weeks.

Upper School English Books (grades 9 - 12)

These books will be distributed directly to students in class; the books will be billed to the Student Billing Account. No Upper School English books will be purchased on the MBS Direct website.
