Grandparents Council
The Francis Parker School Grandparents Council was established as a venue for grandparents to participate in supporting the mission of the School. The Council was formed in 2003 as an inclusive group welcoming any interested grandparents or surrogate grandparent. Council members include out-of-state grandparents who would like to receive information on activities and updates from the School.

Francis Parker School offers a strong educational foundation and instills in our grandchildren the desire and ability to succeed. The Council is proud that our grandchildren leave Parker equipped to meet life’s challenges and make a difference in our world.
Meetings and Events
Meetings are held 3-4 times per year to help plan Grandparent Days, encourage participation as Ambassadors, speakers, room reps, and more. Each year, the Council also hosts a Wine Party to donate fine wines to the Parker Spring Gala. The council co-chairs are Dick and Kay North.
We encourage every grandparent to participate in Grandparent Day: Lower School held in November, Middle School held in February, and Upper School held in April. These special days provide an opportunity for all of us to see the wonderful educational opportunities Parker offers.
