The Francis Parker School Grandparents Council (GPC) was established in 2003 to engage grandparents in the life of the School and to promote their support of the School's mission. The GPC welcomes interested grandparents and surrogate grandparents,
whether they live in- or out-of-state to get involved.
Parker offers a strong educational foundation and instills in our grandchildren the desire and ability to succeed. The GPC is proud that our grandchildren leave Parker equipped to meet life’s challenges and make a difference in our world. If you are interested in joining the GPC or would like more information on special activities, please contact Courtney Howard in the Advancement Office at 858.569.7900.
GrandparentS Council Meetings
The co-chairs of the 2014-2015 GPC are Dave and Parm Von Behren. The GPC has 3-4 meetings during the academic year; meetings include special updates from faculty and staff, planning of Grandparents and Special Friends Day and time to connect with each other. Every grandparent is encouraged to participate in Grandparents and Special Friends Day and see the wonderful educational opportunities offered to our students. The Days occur throughout the academic year and invitations are sent to grandparents in advance.
For all School events, see our Campus Calendar.
