Wine Party Information
We thank you for making time to attend one of Parker's fabulous wine parties. We are grateful to our generous hosts. Here is some detailed information about the parties:
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE WINE PARTIES?
These pre-Gala parties build excitement for the School's Gala and raise support for current-use student scholarship and faculty fellowship.
WHAT SHOULD I/WE BRING TO THE WINE PARTY?
The Gala Committee kindly encourages each wine party attendee to bring a cash/check donation ($100 per person is recommended) as opposed to a bottle of wine. This recommendation is due to the limited space available for silent auction at the San Diego Air and Space Museum. Though, unique and wonderful wine donations (valued at $100+ with a 90+ rating) are welcome.
Please note: these amounts are only suggestions as any gift is much appreciated.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WINE PARTY?
There is no formal dress code; please dress in approriate attire. Invitations will have more detail on party theme.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AT THE PARTY?
Yes. Each host will be serving light food and drink. Invitations will have more detail on food.
WHY DID I RECEIVE INVITATIONS TO MORE THAN ONE WINE PARTY?
The Lower School families are hosting grade-level parties, so families with children in mulitple classes may receive several invitations. Please do not feel obligated to attend any or all parties, this is a purely a social and philanthropic opportunity.
The Middle and Upper School families are invited to wine parties based on home location.
I DIDN'T RECEIVE AN INVITATION. WHY?
The wine parties are being hosted between January and mid-May. Invitations will be sent through online eventsites (ie. evite, paperless post, etc.) from wine party hosts approximately one month prior to each event. It is our goal to ensure that every family receives at least one invitation. Please contact Sarah Latimer if you have questions/concerns at email@example.com or 858/ 874-3371.
