Lower School

Welcome to the Lower School

The faculty and staff are thrilled to welcome you to Parker’s original campus, now enjoying its second century of guiding students to become the best versions of themselves, both academically and socially.
We offer a rich array of classes, all anchored by student placement in a self-contained classroom where the basic subjects of math, literacy and social studies are explored. Beyond those classroom walls, students experience science, art, music, design, library, physical education, foreign language and drama, often integrated through design projects that develop communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
Most importantly, we strive to engage students authentically and meaningfully to nurture their natural sense of curiosity and their desire to learn. And, we involve them daily in situations that help them build a solid foundation of values and perspectives to guide their thinking and decision-making throughout their lives.
Best wishes,
Bob Gillingham
