Parker W.A.R. Lords Robotics team member Remi Mooney '15 says, "It was such an honor to be one of the four hundred teams going to World Championships. There are several thousand teams that compete to get to this level. This was the first year the Francis Parker W.A.R. Lords made it the Championships, out of the six years it has been running."

After packing and shipping the majority of their workshop, the team flew to St. Louis for the big competition. Hundreds of teams, from locations including Israel, Canada, and South America, flooded the area surrounding the setting of the competition.

More images from the event can be found here.

Mooney reflected on the experience, "Although we did not make it to the elimination rounds, we did very well. Thank you so much to our generous mentors, sponsors, and parents for all of their help. FIRST team 2485 cannot wait until next season! In the meantime, we will prepare for Battle at the Border that we host at the Upper School campus in October and continue to inspire the younger Francis Parker engineers in the making."
