Estela de Llanos

Estela de Llanos is Vice President of Clean Transportation, Sustainability, and Chief Environmental Officer for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E). In this role, Estela oversees environmental, fleet, real estate, and land services, as well as facilities for SDG&E. Estela joined Sempra Energy in 2007 as Senior Environmental Counsel and has held a number of roles at Sempra, SDG&E, and SoCalGas since then.  Prior to joining Sempra, Estela was a senior associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins LLP.  

Estela holds a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a second major in international studies from Yale University. At Parker, Estela is a member of the Board’s Audit Committee. Estela also currently serves on the board of the California League of Conservation Voters Education Fund. Estela and her husband, Lars, have three children: Maia, Class of 2021; Eva, Class of 2023; and Nora Class of 2026.
Francis Parker School is a private, independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 from across San Diego County.
