Jennifer Levitt

Jennifer Levitt is an active San Diego community leader and volunteer. She is committed to advancing social justice and strengthening the community by serving on a number of non-profit boards and committees including the Grants Leadership Team of Women Give San Diego, the Philanthropy Committee of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest and the Jewish Federation of San Diego Board of Directors. She is Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of Jewish Family Service of San Diego. She is also past chair of Jewish Women’s Foundation. At Parker, she serves as a volunteer member of the Strategic Initiatives and Academic Affairs Committee. A former Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Sociology at UCSD, Jennifer has also taught undergraduate classes in Sociology of the Family and Social Inequality. She and her husband, Jay, have called San Diego home for over 25 years. Their daughter, Gabrielle, is a member of Parker's Class of 2019.
Francis Parker School is a private, independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 from across San Diego County. Founded in 1912, the Lower School is located on the Mission Hills Campus with the Upper and Middle Schools on the Linda Vista Campus. Parker's mission is to inspire a diverse community of independent thinkers whose academic excellence, global perspective and strength of character prepare them to make a meaningful difference in the world.
