ALUMNI PROFILE – Robyn Bryan '11 
At any given time, Robyn Bryan ’11 could receive a notification that completely alters the course of her day, week, month, even year. In 2015, Robyn was fresh on her new internship working for U.S. Congressman Dan Kildee when she felt that soft buzz in her pocket. Then-president Barack Obama had declared a state of emergency in the city of Flint, part of Michigan’s 5th District and represented by Congressman Kildee.

Now his 15th year at Parker and third year as physical education (P.E.) department chair, Jarrad says the best part of his job is working with his incredible team to create a curriculum that will encourage even the most sedentary student to be active. Last year, yoga was added to the Upper School P.E. curriculum and has become a very popular class. Read more >

Senior Kindergarten to Grade 1 and Senior to Alumni Ceremony
Alumni welcomed the 131 seniors from the Class of 2019 into the Alumni community at the annual ceremony. This five-year tradition celebrates the Seniors’ last year at Parker, Senior. Kinderbuddy relationships and is commemorated with symbolic tokens. Senior Kindergarten (SK) students receive a "lifer" medallion and are encouraged to wear it at their future commencement. Seniors receive an engraved Parker key chain to represent the keys to Parker – their forever home. The Kinderbuddies also provide their Senior buddies with a handmade card.

Alumni Events – We are thrilled to report that 375 alumni attended events this year – from the homecoming tailgate to the NYC reception to an intimate evening at a private home in Seattle. Parker hosts events on campus and around the country - tell us where we should travel next!
Philanthropic Support - 338 alumni made a gift to support Parker this year. We thank you for your generosity and support and are proud to announce that we reached 11% alumni giving participation - the highest participation to date from our graduates. On Alumni Giving Day, 257 alumni united to raise nearly $80,000, including a dollar-for-dollar match for financial assistance to ensure current and future generations experience the same Parker that alumni know and love.
Staff TransitionIt is with a sad heart that we announce that Annie Sawyer, the former Associate Director of Alumni Relations at Parker for 4 years has moved onto a new opportunity. She left in April to join Outdoor Outreach as the Senior Director of Development. Outdoor Outreach's mission is to connect youth to the transformative power of the outdoors. For those of you who know Annie, you will understand how well this opportunity fits with her personal and professional passions and skills.
