Tyler Bernardini ’07 believes in the power of dreams.
When he entered Parker in Grade 9,Tyler dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player. The sport became a 12-month job for him at a very young age, as he forewent other activities to accommodate a rigorous athletic schedule while still making time to support his classmates at their concerts, performances, and games. He was challenged on and off the court in his 4 years at the School, spending hours perfecting his game and honing his leadership skills, while still meeting the high level of academic expectations at Parker. According to Coach Jim Tomey, those hours paid off.
Tyler is speaking at this year's Parents Association Gala, Country Palooza, on May 11 - read more about him here!

Lower School students learn more than the power of the imagination in Letty Robinson’s ’78 drama program, from learning the first stages of puppetry in Junior Kindergarten to learning to create their own play productions in Grade 5, students leave Lower School with a breadth of knowledge and experience that makes them into leaders.
“The real magic happens behind the scenes and in the classroom,” says Letty. “I love watching a shy JK student come in on their first day of school and grow to become a confident fifth grader who knows about stage design, stage presence, and teamwork.”
Parker is a 2019 Green Ribbon School and one of only 20 schools in the entire state awarded for reducing its carbon footprint and improving the health and wellness of its students, faculty, and staff.
