PARKER ARTS

The Parker Difference

The arts are an essential component of the Parker curriculum, helping students to think independently and explore their creativity. At each division, expert faculty members inspire students through specialized daily instruction in visual and performing arts.

Beginning in Junior Kindergarten and continuing through Upper School, students are challenged throughout the program to understand the concepts of artistic perception, creative expression, historical and cultural context, and aesthetic valuing. The range of art creative outlets available to Parker students is unmatched, and includes Studio Art, Wood Working, Metal Working, Ceramics, Orchestra, Band, Chorus, Yearbook, Nationally-recognized Scribe Magazine, Dance, the award-winning Drama Club, and more.

The amount of resources and professionalism that sustain Francis Parker's Art Department has allowed me to fully explore my passion for art and design in a near-professional environment. I will be forever grateful to Parker for giving me such creative opportunities."
