NEW! Little Authors Academy (Grade 2-5)

Dates: Aug. 26 to 30
Times: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Price: $350/week

Offered for one week only, Little Authors Academy provides incoming Grade 2-5 students with a unique opportunity to become a published author.

Little Authors Academy™ taps into each child’s creativity and expands their writing skills. As they learn about the components of a story, the illustration process, book layout and much more, your child will develop his or her voice to creatively express themselves as an author and illustrator.

Designed to help young children write and illustrate their very own book, our proprietary curriculum was developed by a certified and credentialed teacher. Our goal is to empower and grow a child’s confidence, to teach them the fundamentals of how to write, construct, and publish a book, while inspiring the artist within.

Our students become educated writers - and, for those who choose to - published authors. Have your child’s book professionally published and available to purchase online for an additional $149. Past authors have also submitted their books to the San Diego Library's Local Author Showcase and their books are displayed in the downtown library and celebrated at a special event.
