Summer Program Transition

Tim Katzman, our Director of Summer and Extended Day Programs, has retired from Francis Parker School after nine years of faithful and devoted work on behalf of our students, families, faculty, and administration. We wish to thank Tim for his service to the school. He has made Francis Parker School a better place through his many contributions to our summer program, the after-school program, several Chinese student outreach efforts, the summer jazz workshops, and the establishment of a squash program on behalf of the athletic department. Accordingly, we wish Tim all the best in his future endeavors.

Parker is excited to welcome our new Director of Summer and Extended Day Programs, Erika Chapa. Prior to joining Parker, Erika was part of a founding team that helped develop Marin Preparatory School from an idea to a thriving independent school in San Francisco. During her nine years at Marin Prep, Erika held many roles including Director of Enrollment Management, Director of Educational Technology, and Director of Summer Programs. She also served as the Spanish Language Director and taught 2nd grade, Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Spanish.
