All Francis Parker School's students' grandparents are welcome into our special grandparent community. Parker has a unique and special group who oversees the grandparent community, our Grandparents Council (GPC). The GPC was established in 2003 to engage grandparents in the life of the School and promote their support of the School's mission. Whether you live in or out of state, the GPC welcomes interested grandparents and surrogate grandparents to get involved, have fun and participate.
Current GPC members can access the 2015-16 GPC Directory here

Parker offers a strong educational foundation and instills in our grandchildren the desire and ability to succeed. The GPC is proud that our grandchildren leave Parker equipped to meet life’s challenges and make a difference in the world. MESSAGE FROM THE Grandparents Council co-chairs
Being a grandparent is certainly one of life’s most rewarding thrills, and being a member of the Grandparent Council (GPC) is a great way to be involved with the education of our grandkids here at Francis Parker School.
We meet a few times a year, with the opportunity to learn firsthand about the curriculum and experiences that our grandkids are enjoying. Through our financial support of Parker and our volunteer efforts especially on Grandparents & Special Friends Days for the Lower, and Middle and Upper Schools, we get to enjoy an important aspect of our grandkid’s lives.
Your input and participation in your grandkids academic experience is special—and we want to make it fun for you to get involved. We invite you to become members of the Grandparents Council (click here) if you aren’t already and encourage you to attend the meetings and events listed above.
We look forward to seeing you this year!
Dave and Parm Von Behren
