Lauren Tomey '09 earned San Diego Hall of Champions Amateur Athlete of the Month honors for the month of April for outstanding softball at University of San Diego. Lauren was one of 10 local collegiate athletes honored this month.

Gino Gordon '07 named to American Youth Football Ring of Honor. Gordon, a co-recipient of the Asa S. Bushnell Cup which honors the Ivy League Football Player of the Year, was previously honored in a ceremony at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. Read more.

Amani Walker '07earned NSCAA All-West Region honors and Soccer America MVP Second Team recognition following his senior season at UC Irvine.  He amassed 27 goals in his four years as an Anteater, fourth all-time in school history.  On January 18th he was drafted by the Chicago Fire in the supplemental draft for Major League Soccer.

Cassidy Lichtman '07 was named as a member of the NCAA Division I All-American first team for the second straight year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. She was also one of just six members on the ESPN Academic All-American first team.  She became Parker's first-ever D-I All-American last season.

Jeff Lauer '07 was named Academic All-Conference in the New England Small College Athletic Conference in two sports played simultaneously, football and soccer. He was the only student in the confrence to be named to two simultaneous all-academic teams. To be qualified, you must letter in the varsity sport and carry a minimum 3.35 GPA.

Cassidy Lichtman '07 was named to the first team All Pac 10 and ESPN First Team Academic All-American. She is Stanford's 9th all-time Academic All-American in volleyball.

Cassidy Lichtman '07
was, once again, selected as the PAC 10 Player of the Week for Women's Volleyball at Stanford University.  The senior led the Cardinal to straight-set wins over No. 20 Arizona and Arizona State last week to capture a share of the Pac-10 Championship, the team's fifth-straight title.

Cassidy Lichtman '07
was selected as the PAC 10 Player of the Week for Women's Volleyball at Stanford University. In addition, Cassidy and three of her teammates were named to the ESPN District All-Academic First Team.

Jeff Lauer '07
, now at Williams College, was chosen NESCAC Player of the Week for his performance against Wesleyan University. He was perfect in Field Goals and PATs. Jeff is the only student athlete at Williams who is playing two sports simulataneously: football and soccer.

Gino Gordon '07
was named the Ivy League Player of the Week in Harvard's 45 - 28 football victory over Princeton on Saturday, October 23. Gordon rushed for a career-high 204 yards on 20 carries (including a 26-yard TD) as the Crimson scored the most points ever in their 103 year-old series with Princeton.

Callie Nielson '09 was named the NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week after helping her Amherst College team to a 3-0 road record, including two big conference wins.  She averaged 12 assists per set in the three victories, including 46 in a 3-1 come-from-behind victory over Tufts College.  She would also add 40 assists in the 3-0 sweep of Bowdoin on October 9.

Aaron Buckley '10 gets noted for helping the Carleton College men's golf team to unprecedented success thus far in the 2010-11 season.  He and his teammates will compete for the MIAC Championship on October 1-3 at the Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minn.

Deon Randall '10 and Wes Gavin '10
helped the Yale football team to a 40-35 victory over Georgetown.  Read the recap, view the stats and watch the highlights.  Randall rushed for 24 yards on three carries while Gavin played in all but three offensive series and was a key blocker (right tackle #79 in video) on the game-winning score.  Gavin was honored by the coaching staff with the "Player of the Week" award for his performance.

shot a 3-over par round of 75 in the first round en route to a 36th place finish at the St. John's University Invitational, helping Carleton College to an 8th place finish.

Deprise Brazell '10
scored two goals in the Davidson College women's soccer victory over Presbyterian College.  She would add her third goal of the weekend in the loss to Iowa two days later, but she would earn All-Tournament honors for her play.
