Welcome Grandparents!

All Francis Parker School students' grandparents are welcome into our special grandparent community. Parker has a unique and special group who oversees the grandparent community, our Grandparents Council (GPC). The GPC was established in 2003 to engage grandparents in the life of the School and promote their support of its mission. Whether you live in or out of state, the GPC welcomes interested grandparents and surrogate grandparents to get involved, have fun and participate.

Message from the Grandparents Council Chair

Dear Grandparent(s),

Welcome to a new year filled with wonderful and exciting adventures.

As grandparents we are so fortunate to be able to play a role in the lives of our grandchildren and share in their world. The Grandparents Council at Francis Parker School gives us this opportunity with special events, meetings and gatherings throughout the year. We are able to learn about their academic and cultural experiences as well as their broad curriculum. With our financial support and the fun and enjoyable volunteer efforts, we remain involved in the Parker community.

Grandparents and Special Friends Days for the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools are not to be missed but treasured in our memories. These special days allow us to truly experience the Parker education our grandchildren enjoy so much.

I look forward to meeting you and hope you will become a part of the Grandparents Council, where your participation and involvement is appreciated and continuously rewarded. Simply click Join the Grandparents Council and complete the brief form to join. There are no requirements nor homework; only wonderful company and perfect grandchildren.

Fondly,

Susan Houser
Grandparents Council Chair
