History of the GPC

The Grandparents Council (GPC) was formed in 2003 with the purpose of connecting grandparents to the School and to participate in supporting Parker's mission. The same purpose rings true today. At the time it was formed, it was one of the only Grandparents Council in the country and many independent schools started to clone the idea. Below is a list of the GPC leaders, past, present, and future:

-2006: Jane Trevor Fetter ’50
-2008: Frank and Jean McGrath
-2010: Sharon C. Considine
-2012: Aline Koppel
-2014: Dick and Kay North
-2016: Dave and Parm Von Behren
-2018: Susan Houser
-2020: Mike and Sandy Harris
