Parker Food Services offers a balanced diet that meets or exceeds all of the recommended daily allowances for our target age groups. Menus were planned following a thorough analysis of Parker lunch and snack offerings by a registered dietician.
Reductions were made on fat, packaged foods, foods with preservatives and most desserts. We have increased our use of homemade soups with fresh materials, baking instead of frying, and serve more nutritious breads, pastas and sauces.
Fresh fruit and nutritious snacks are also provided in Lower School classrooms.
