Mary Moore, beloved kindergarten teacher, died on April 11, 2016. Mary began her career at Francis Parker School in 1964 where she served as head kindergarten teacher until she retired in 1987. She continued to preside over the annual Thanksgiving kindergarteners’ performance of “Hi-ya, Hi-ya” through 2015, marking the 51st year since she established this important Francis Parker tradition. Mary is survived by daughter Maggie, sister Adelaide and nieces Sherrin and Cherylyn. In lieu of flowers, Mary asked that donations be made to the Mary Moore Musical Enrichment Fund at Francis Parker School.
