Emily Wier '06

Emily Wier ’06 spent the summer of 2016 as an intern in the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change. While there, she worked with the Domestic Policy Council to support implementation of the President’s Climate Action Plan. In September, Emily returned to Yale University to complete her master’s program. Her research focuses on urban climate change mitigation policies, with an emphasis on transportation and land-use. Upon graduation, Emily hopes to work for the federal government to develop effective climate policy. 
Francis Parker School is a private, independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 from across San Diego County.
