T.J. Tallie

T.J. Tallie left Parker in 2008 to get a PhD in history from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. After six years of study that included learning isiZulu, living in South Africa and London, and writing a 300 page dissertation, he graduated in 2014. T.J. is now a professor of African history at Washington and Lee University in Virginia. If any Parker alumni are in central Virginia, feel free to drop him a line at talliet@wlu.edu.
