Upper School Bronze Pour

Before students departed for the holiday break, the Upper School 3D Art and Design class had their first bronze pour of the year. Working in Parker's state-of-the-art studio facilities, the students created their works of art which were molded in wax and cast into ceramic investments. After being fired overnight, the molten bronze was poured into the investments where the metal cools. When students return from break they will be able to finish their works of art - chasing, welding and applying the patina.
