Parker Violinist Named Most Promising at the 2017 La Jolla Symphony Young Artist Competition

Parker freshman, Nathan Sariowan, Class of 2020, earned Most Promising instrumentalist at the 2017 La Jolla Symphony Young Artist Competition even after taking two years off from competition. Nathan was the youngest competitor at the event, which drew instrumentalists and vocalists ages 14-30 from around the San Diego County and Baja California.

The La Jolla Symphony & Chorus is a non-profit organization affiliated with the University of California, San Diego, founded the competition in 1960 in hopes to celebrate and encourage the next generation of musicians.
