The Needs of Society
For more than a century, Parker has emphasized the development of the whole child—encouraging students to be both active agents in their education and contributing citizens in their community.
Knowledge of the world helps our students develop habits of critical thinking, effective collaboration, innovation, and empathy. Lancers develop global competency through our extensive world language program, opportunities for global travel, and on-campus learning experiences.
We understand our profound responsibility to create a learning environment that develops and nurtures the whole child. Essential skills and attributes—character building, teamwork, conflict resolution, empathy-building, and self-reflection—are embedded into the fabric of a Parker education.
Built into our culture and curriculum, all Parker students contribute to and engage with the community through special projects, clubs, on-campus experiences, and elective courses. Service learning helps students cultivate character and gain an understanding of community and society.
Horizons at Parker
Established in 2020, the Horizons at Parker chapter brings academic support, social-emotional development, and dozens of learning opportunities to students from two local elementaries. Parker teachers, students, and families support Horizons with their time, expertise, and financial assistance.
