About Us

Our Analytics department uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a database to be used by our drive team during competition for strategy and alliance selection. They also manage our scouting alliance, which allows other teams to collect and use data from our platform at competition.

Our Business and media team manages sponsorships, award submissions, and team merchandise. They are also in charge of magazines and our social media page.

Our Build department uses manual and computer-controlled machines, like CNC routers, to manufacture our robot.

Our Controls department handles all electrical systems on the robot, from vision systems that allow the robot to drive autonomously to carefully wiring each system on the robot to ensure reliability. They use WPILib Java and CTRE Motion Magic® for robot control, and PhotonVision on external hardware to handle vision.

Our Design department designs the robot based on the game, leads prototyping, and 3D models the robot in OnShape. From their work, our Build department is able to manufacture the robot.

Our drive department trains students to be on the competition drive team, in the following roles: Driver, Coach, Operator, and Human Player.

The Reach department manages outreach on our team: they organize events, track member community service hours, and work with our outreach officers, who oversee outreach done by their respective departments. Reach is also a SWENext chapter and is in charge of diversity initiatives on our team.
