Lancer Life
for new Parker Middle Schoolers
Lancer Life is an exciting and enriching opportunity tailored for all Middle School students who will be new to the Linda Vista Campus in the fall. This dynamic program is designed to equip students with the academic, social, and technological skills they need to thrive in the Parker Middle School environment.
Who can attend?
Any Parker Middle School student who is new to the Linda Vista campus. This includes students new to Parker and current Parker Grade 5 students!
How to register
To participate in the program, please register your student for the Camp Parker week-long camp that aligns with the weeks of Lancer Life participation. We strongly encourage all students new to the division to join us for this invaluable experience.
Daily Schedule
8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Students will register for the week-long offerings of Camp Parker, directed by the Summer at Parker 2025 program. Camp Parker begins with a group welcome from 8:00–8:30 a.m.
Following this welcome time, new students to the division will rotate through the Lancer Life program and Camp Parker activities. Students will enjoy a variety of activities, including swimming two days a week and engaging in other grade-level-specific activities.
The schedule is designed to accommodate different grade levels:
- Rising Grade 6 students will participate for 2 hours of Lancer Life programming each morning from 8:30–10:30 am.
- Rising Grade 7 and 8 students will join for 1 hour of Lancer Life programming each morning from 10:30–11:30 am.
After the morning offerings, students will have lunch together, and join the main Camp Parker cohort in the afternoon.
Extended Day programming is available until 5 pm.
Dates
June 23 - July 3
Lancer Life is a special offering as a part of the first 2 weeks of Camp Parker. Lancer Life is offered Monday through Thursday during the first two weeks of the summer session, from June 23 to July 3. On Fridays, when Lancer Life is not in session, campers will participate in a full day of Camp Parker activities, including field trips, additional sports offerings, and fun games.
