  • (F) US Girls Volleyball - Junior Varsity

    2019 - 2020
    Head Coach: Bradley Benton

Parker Girls Volleyball (GVB) is one of the greatest legacies of the School. Parker GVB is Southern California’s winningest CIF state championship program, having won nine state titles in three different CIF divisions since 1986. Parker GVB has also captured 11 CIF Southern California regional titles, as well as 18 CIF-San Diego Section championships, second-most in section history. Players have gone on to study and play in some of the nation’s finest women’s volleyball programs, including Stanford, USC, UCLA, Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.

The program seeks to create dynamic young women thru championship-level volleyball. We look to create an environment through which the players in the program grow as human beings, students, and athletes, regardless of their skill level. The lessons Parker GVB players learn while in the program, such as teamwork, resilience, leadership, tenacity, sacrificing self for the greater good, time management, and strong work ethic, equip our players for their future journeys and ensure that they are better student-athletes when they leave the program than when they started in it.

Parker GVB has been successful in impacting the lives of young ladies, through its coaching staff. Our coaching alumni include NCAA national champion John Cook, CIF-SDS Hall of Famer John Herman, NCAA national champion Mark Presho, and Olympic gold & bronze medalist Eric Sato. We place a strong emphasis on the process of getting better and reaching for greatness on a daily basis. Through diligence, focus, and the daily challenge of competing against each other and ourselves, we look to reach our potential, become better each day, and succeed in whatever challenges come before us. Winning is not always defined by a scoreboard, and while we will always seek championships, Parker GVB will always look to creating champions first.
