A gift of stocks (or bonds) is an easy way for you to make a gift. By making a gift of your appreciated securities, you can avoid paying capital gains tax that would otherwise be due if you sold these assets. Here are some of the potential benefits:
  • No capital gains tax on donated securities
  • Receive a charitable income tax deduction
  • Enjoy possible increased income
  • Further the Parker mission today!
Once you have decided on the securities, you will transfer to Parker, complete and return the authorization form so that we can prepare an acknowledgment for tax purposes and properly steward your gift. Additionally, email the Advancement Office at advancement@francisparker.org to alert us of the transfer so we may follow up with you when the transfer is complete.
Cryptocurrency

Parker gratefully accepts cryptocurrency donations with a gift value greater than or equal to $10,000 (USD). Please contact the Advancement Office at advancement@francisparker.org or call 858-569-7900 for donation instructions.

Real Estate

A gift of your real property (such as your home, vacation property, vacant land, farmland or ranch or commercial property) can make a great gift to the School. If you own appreciated real property, you can avoid paying capital gains tax and receive a charitable income tax deduction by making a gift to us.

If you are interested in making a gift of real property or mortgaged property, please contact the Advancement Office at advancement@francisparker.org or call 858-569-7900.

Matching Gift

Many employers offer a matching gift program to eligible employees. If you or your spouse works for a matching gift company, your gift to Parker may be doubled or tripled simply by completing a form that is available from your employer.

As a donor, you will be credited with the total contribution, including your corporate match. Not only does the size of your gift increase, but you will be recognized in the giving category of the combined donation amount (your gift and your company’s gift).

See whether your company—or your spouse's—matches gifts.

For questions about submitting your matching gift, please email advancement@francisparker.org.

Wire Transfer
