2020-21 Events

Wednesday, July 14: How Do We Observe, Analyze, and Decide to Act?

This conversation and case study touched on the tightly coupled topics of power, race, and racism and how to affect meaningful change. This virtual meeting included breakout groups and was led by Uche Amaechi, lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Wednesday, July 21: Part Two
Building on the information learned in Part One and exploring a new case study, the conversation will be led by the Director and Associate Directors of Parker’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Christen Tedrow-Harrison, Valissa Thomas, and Veronica Scott. 

May 12-14, 2021: Alumni Giving Days of Impact

302 joined forces to enhance the Alumni Impact Fund and voted to fund the new Athletic Tents which will be used for Middle School PE and athletic teams during the 2021-2022 school year. Thank you for your 'vote of confidence' in Parker!

February 12, 2021: Last Decade and 10-year Reunion
Eleven alumni joined us at this fun-filled reunion for the Classes of 2010 – 2020. We had an interactive program and break-out rooms by class peppered with five amazing faculty members.

November 10: PASS - The New Norms for the NFL
Katie Sylvan '09 a Senior Manager for Labor Operations at NFL Enterprises LLC, Matt Wile '11, NFL Kicker, and Matt Morrison '05, Parker's Head Football Coach discussed the process and considerations made when designing the 2020 NFL season. Watch the recording here.

October 2: Virtual Alumni Reunion

71 Alumni celebrated the Classes of ’55, ’60, ’65, ’70, ’75, ’80, ’85, ’90, ’95, '00, and ’05. We had a short program including a campus tour, Head of School Update, and Diversity update, time to socialize with classmates and current and retired faculty, Classes without homework, and break-out rooms by affinity. October 13: PASS: Behind the Scenes with the SD Loyal
Join Andrew Vassiliadis '01, team owner, Cameron Dunbar '21 current MLS player for LA Galaxy, Melissa Warner, Parker's Girls Soccer Coach, and Amani Walker '07, former professional soccer player and current Parker Program Director for Boys Soccer for information about how the new team has managed the market and COVID conditions/restrictions. Watch the recording here.

Twenty alumni gathered to enjoy beautiful views of Manhattan and reminisce about their days at Parker.

Friday, February 7, 2020: FPS in San Francisco
Parker alumni joined Ryan Griggs and Rose Hanscom at Southern Pacific Brewing Co for appetizers, drinks and great memories.

Thursday, February 6, 2020: FPS in Los Angeles
Parker alumni joined David Glassey and J.P. Pierce at RockSugar Asian Bistro in Century City for dinner, drinks, and great conversation.

Friday, October 25, 2019: Parker Homecoming
Parker alumni, parents, students, and friends joined together to celebrate the Parker Football team during Friday Night Lights. Parker beat Maranatha 61:7 that evening. Parker varsity football won the league title and is seated 4th in the division. (as of 11.11.19)


Tuesday, May 28, 2019: Parker Senior Class to Alumni Ceremony
Parker alumni participated in a joyful ceremony on Lancer Lawn, welcoming graduating seniors to the alumni community, as they welcome senior kindergarten students to the first-grade.
